User Productivity Kit (UPK) offers online training for UofL employees. Any of the modules that appear in UPK are available for review. One of the benefits of online training is that you can access this information from any location and at your convenience, from work or from home. No log-in is required. There are some settings on your computer that you will want to check before using UPK. |

| Screen Resolution UPK is best viewed using a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. To check your screen resolution:

TAKING A TEST |

Although UPK does not
require a login to access training modules, if you are required to take
a test, you will need to log into the secure portion of UPK. The
key thing to remember is to enter ad\
in front of your userid when logging
in. Note the direction of the slash in ad\. This is a
back slash rather than a forward slash. ![]() When you are presented with the login window above, enter ad\your userid and your ULink password as shown in the image above. |

USING DO IT MODE Do It Mode is one of the playback modes available in UPK. This mode enables you to learn interactively using live data in PeopleSoft. If you would like to use Do It Mode, follow the instructions below: |

Open Internet Explorer Open another browser window. Navigate to PeopleSoft and log in Click on the button in your taskbar that says "PeopleSoft 8." This will bring UPK back to the desktop Select the desired Topic in UPK, then click on the "Do It" icon You should now have PeopleSoft on the screen as well as a small UPK window To get started, click on the arrow in the UPK window (see below) After reading the directions in UPK, perform the action in PeopleSoft. Click on the arrow again to show each subsequent step
